    • Transfer to a different distance (As event capacity allows)
    • Transfer to a virtual event
    • Transfer bib to another participant

    There are no deferrals available.

In addition, very low-cost race insurance is available through a 3rd party on our registration site.  Please read carefully and contact the provider with any questions as this is only a service from the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon and we have no involvement with the option.

When you registered you were sent a confirmation email.  On that email receipt is an option to “transfer” your registration to another event.  We are allowing transfers as long as the distance you wish to transfer to has not reached capacity.  If you can no longer find that confirmation email you may go to our registration page and enter your information to be taken to your “dashboard” where you can make the change.

The marathon and half marathon races start at 7:00am and you must maintain a pace to finish in 6.5 hours (1:30pm) for both the half and full marathons.  If you are behind pace at the halfway point of our event OR behind pace at the beginning of the bridge crossing (approx. mile 20), we will inform you and ask you to take our waiting shuttle to the finish line.  Our course will systimatically close as the cutoff times are met. If you need to “drop” please let a course marshall know and they will arrange for a pick up.

The expo and packet pick-up will be held on Saturday, October 1st.  If you are unable to attend the Expo, you may have your race bib picked up by another as long as they have a copy of your confirmation and a signed statement authorizing them to do so.  Those picking up bibs will need to show picure ID.

Race Day packet pick up is available to those who selected the option PRIOR to October er 1st.  In the event you do NOT pick up your bib at the expo, they may be available  at the start line for an additional $40 fee payable at that time.   NO EXCEPTIONS.  NO BIB–NO ENTRY.

Please come to the Expo!  It’s worth it!
