Questions? We Have Answers

Yes!  The full marathon course will be a Boston qualifier just like it has for 40 years!  The Half Marathon and 5K will also be run on certified courses.

Go back to the registration site or follow the link on your confirmation email.

We sincerely regret that you will not be able to participate with us this year.  The following options are available to you:

    • Transfer to a different distance (As event capacity allows)
    • Transfer to a virtual event
    • Transfer bib to another participant

    There are no deferrals available.

In addition, very low-cost race insurance is available through a 3rd party on our registration site.  Please read carefully and contact the provider with any questions as this is only a service from the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon and we have no involvement with the plan.

Log into your account on the registration site to make the change.  We are allowing transfers as long as the distance you wish to transfer to has not reached capacity or until September 1, 2023.

The marathon and half marathon races start at 7:00am and you must maintain a pace to finish in 6.5 hours (1:30pm) for both the half and full marathons.  Our course will re-open to traffic based on the maximum 15 minutes/mile allowed.  If you are behind pace at the halfway point of the marathon or mile 23.5, we will notify you and have a shuttle to the finish line available.  If you need assistance along the way, please ask a course attendant and they will call a shuttle for you.

The expo and packet pick-up will be held on Saturday, September 30 at the Wisconsin Center from 9am-6pm.  If you are unable to attend the Expo, you may have your race bib picked up by another as long as they have a copy of your confirmation and a signed statement authorizing them to do so.  Those picking up bibs will need to show picture ID.

Race Day packet pick up is available to those who selected the option PRIOR to September 30.  In the event you do NOT pick up your bib at the expo, they may be available  at the start line for an additional $40 fee payable at that time.   NO EXCEPTIONS.  NO BIB–NO ENTRY.

Please come to the Expo!  It’s worth it!
