Expo and Packet Pickup

About the Expo/Packet Pickup at the Kern Center:
 

The expo will be held at the MSOE Kern Center, which is located at 1245 N Broadway in downtown Milwaukee. Expo hours are 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, and 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. There will be FREE continuous shuttle bus service from the two host hotels running to and from the expo/packet pickup from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday. This service is available to all runners and spectators - not just hotel guests. We will have 30 or more booths - including national vendors.

All marathon participants MUST pick up their packets at the expo. Bring a photo ID. You can have someone else pick up your packet. This is the link to the packet pickup authorizaton form. The person that you authorize to pick up your packet must bring this form with them as well as a copy of your ID and a copy of their own ID.  Do not mail the authorization form to us!

A confirmation email will be sent to you in September It contains your bib number, your name, address and agef you are on a team. Please verify that the information is correct. If it isn't, plese email me at registration.

There will be NO race day packet pick-up.  All packets must be picked up at the pre-race expo on either Friday or Saturday. In addition to your personalized runner number, your packet will contain other important items that you’ll need for the race: most importantly pins and a bag for your warm-up clothing. And let’s not forget your official Lakefront Marathon friction-free shirt from RaceReady! You will also pick up your race bib with a timing chip.

Race merchandise will be available at packet pick-up, as well as at the finish area of the race on Sunday. Bring either your e-mail identification to packet pickup. It will help us find your race packet easier.

Directions to Packet Pickup at the Kern Center:
 

• From I-94 Eastbound: 
  Take I-794 east 1 mile to the Jackson/Van Buren Exit - this is a left exit. Proceed north on Van Buren Street 8 blocks to Juneau Avenue; turn left. Continue for three blocks to Broadway and turn right. The Kern Center will be on your left.
   
• From I-94 Westbound (from the South):
  Take the McKinley exit. Proceed east on McKinley approximately ½ mile - across the river. The Kern Center is the large glass building on your left - one block east of Water St.
   
• From I-43 Southbound:
  Take the McKinley exit. Turn left and proceed east on McKinley approximately ½ mile - across the river. The Kern Center is the large glass building on your left - one block east of Water St.

Parking is available in surface lots or on the street.

Free continuous Shuttle buses will be available between the Hyatt, Marriott, and the expo/packet pickup from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday. This service is available to all runners and spectators - not just hotel guests.
On Sunday, free continuous shuttle buses will be available between the Hyatt, Marriott and the finish area from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Directions from downtown hotels:

• Directions from the Marriott:
  Go west 1 block to 4th Street; turn right.
  Go north 5 blocks to State Street; turn right.
  Continue for five blocks to Broadway and turn left.
  The Kern Center will be on your left.
   
• Directions from the Hyatt:
  Take Kilbourn east 1/2 block to N Old World Third Street; turn left.
  Go north 5 blocks to State Street; turn right.
  Continue for five blocks to Broadway and go left one block.
  The Kern Center will be on your left.
   

• Walking Directions 
  Go east to the Riverwalk - use the west side of the river; turn left.
  Proceed north to State Street; turn right.
  Go east to Broadway and north to the Kern Center.
