Yes! The course is USATF certified (WI11041DM) and a Boston qualifier.

If you signed up for refund insurance through racemine.com, you can get your entry fee refunded but you have to contact racemine.com. We do not offer refunds, transfers, or deferrals.

You may walk but you must maintain a pace to finish in 6.5 hours.

The expo and packet pick-up will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.  This is the only time you can pick up your packet for race day!  Expo information and details coming soon!

We allow you to have someone else pick up your packet if they have their ID and a photocopy or picture of your ID.

You can bring it to the finish area on Sunday and exchange it for whatever sizes are available.

Pacers for 2017 will cover finish times ranging from 3:00 to 6:30. Check out the pace team table at the expo for more details and to meet the pacers.  See all the pacing times here.

All runners will receive an official Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon drop bag at packet pick up.  Put your items in here and drop the bag at the UPS truck near the start line.  Items not retrieved after the race will be discarded.  Please do not your car keys, cell phone, wallet, or other items of value in your drop bag.

Each aid station will have water, Lemon-lime Endurance Formula Gatorade, and portable toilets.

Power Gel will be available on the course at approximately miles 7.5 and 19.5.  Flavors include Strawberry-Banana (caffeine), Double Latte (caffeine), Vanilla, Orange Dream, and Pomegranate Blueberry Acai.

Headphones are allowed on the course although discouraged because of safety concerns.  If you are competing for prize money, you may not use headphones.

No, non-registered runners are not allowed on the race course.

No, strollers are not allowed on the course per insurance and permitting.

You may not start early due to safety considerations and permit restrictions.

Please leave your dog at home.  Milwaukee County ordinances prohibit dogs in the county parks; this includes the finish area and several of the water stops.

The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon is held the first Sunday of October.  Registration information will be available on our website.
